We arrived to the Wedding industry in a little different
manner than most. Jason DeCunzo, our founder and
principal, designed his own wedding 20 years ago
but, happy with his professional lighting and sound
design practice, didn't really have the opportunity to
work on another until about 12 years later.
Knowing of Jason's extensive theatre background, a dear friend asked him to help create a
"one-of-a-kind" wedding for him and his fiance. "I didn't have any idea where to start" Jason
explains. "But I knew that Mitch and Anna were working on a budget, and that they wanted an
experience that no one attending would ever forget."
With that, Jason set out to create an outdoor wedding, set within a forest, with lighting that followed the bride down the path, hidden speakers for the music, and an enchanted ceremony.
"I gathered some folks that I trusted from the theatre world together, and we created the wedding just as we would have any other production" Jason explains. "The end result was really beautiful...that triggered something in me to keep doing this. I absolutely loved it".
From those beginnings, Riverhaus Productions was born. The team now consists of a very
knowledgable and personable group of technicians, emcees, disc jockeys and entertainers,
all working to create something better- something unique-an event that only occurs once.
"That's our goal. I want every wedding we do to be a part of the bride and groom forever. We
set out on every wedding as if it was my own daughter up there. We all do".
Riverhaus Productions provides lighting, audio, staging, themed design and decoration, emcee and dj services, as well as planning and technical direction for all of the services required to stage a wedding.

Unlike "DJ" companies, Riverhaus Productions has been in the professional live music business for over 25 years. In fact, we got our start in professional theater and music.

monitoring for up to 16 piece bands.
